Summary of the job roleEvents Marketing Manager - International B2B Events / Conferences - London - c£35k Basic plus £5.5k bonus (paid quarterly, c£40.5k OTE) Great Benefits This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in B2B publishing and events as an Events Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will take a lead role in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns for a high-value global portfolio of international Conferences & Events. You will be responsible for creating multi-channel campaigns leveraging content marketing and customer behaviour to drive engagement with the aim of growing delegate attendance at your events. Requirements: At least 3 years' events marketing experience (preferably conferences, exhibitions, or seminars, etc) Good mix of Digital and offline marketing, including social media marketing, email marketing, paid search / PPC, paid social, etc. CRM / Email systems / email automation experience (such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, or similar platform) Degree educated Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise Advanced knowledge of Excel and excellent numeracy Experience in campaign planning, implementation and analysis Excellent copywriting and proofing skills with an eye for detail Experience in database management and data research Reporting to the Head of Marketing your responsibilities will be to: Create and implement multi-channel marketing campaign plans to maximise delegate numbers Analyse past campaigns to identify effective market channels and inform future plans Work with producer to select and segment audience groups, and create tailored messaging Produce marketing copy for websites and for emails Develop targeted paid search / PPC campaigns for events Ensure websites are optimised for SEO to drive traffic from organic search Test different approaches in both campaigns and website layout to continually improve the user experience Develop strategies and tactics to drive organic traffic to conference websites Collaborate with conference producers and analysts to implement content marketing campaigns Brief, oversee and motivate an off-shore delegate sales function Develop 'test and learn’ strategies to refine and optimise your approach on an ongoing basis This role would suit someone looking to gain valuable experience within a leading multi-national brand, with excellent opportunities for progressing your career. The salary for this role is up to £35k Basic, with a £5.5k bonus, which is paid in quarterly increments, bringing an OTE of c£40.5k which is uncapped.
