EXHIBITION SALES MANAGER REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START BASED IN COVENTRY £30,000 - £35,000 PER ANNUM BONUS (UP TO 25% OF ANNUAL SALARY) NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL PROGRESSION I am currently working with a fast growing national/international Exhibition sales specialist organisation and due to expansion they are now looking to recruit an Exhibition Sales Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The company has a fast paced ethos with aggressive growth plans across the globe with the wealth and experience of truly entrepreneurial company founders who have overseen exhibitions across 20 different countries. The main role for the exhibition manager will be overseeing the exhibition with a main focus on sales - sourcing, pitching, closing and account managing companies who will exhibit at the exhibition. The job will predominately be based from Coventry however meetings are encouraged and there will be travel involved to competitor exhibitions both domestically and internationally. [ The role ] - Set, maintain and manage the show budget - Work with marketing and other teams to ensure the successful running of the exhibition - Create, maintain and grow relationships with new and existing clients - To achieve set revenue targets, set by the Managing Director, on an annual basis - Visit competitor exhibitions and domestic clients and close business face to face as well as over the phone - Consistently achieve set KPI’s by the Managing Director, including call rates and diary entries - To provide weekly sales reports highlighting both closed and pipelined sales - Keep updated with local industry knowledge through use of google alerts and media - Advise marketing colleagues with market insight and copy for promotion - Work as credit control where necessary ensuring clients meet payment commitments - Floorplan management - Managing of post sales service and account management to clients - Identify and attend competitor events when required achieving set revenue targets on-site - Balance phone-based selling with face to face appointments where necessary - Database management and effective data entry [ Person and skills required ] - Minimum of 2 years exhibition sales experience - Demonstrate a track record of over achieving sales targets - Experience of high value sales activity - Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office - Commercial awareness - Fluent English both spoken and written - Attention to detail - Demonstrate experience of both phone and face to face selling If you believe you have the skills/experience for this exciting opportunity please apply ASAP, for more information contact Mike at our Coventry office.
