A well-known and highly regarded international development charity that works to rebuild the lives of those worst affected by conflicts and natural disasters are seeking a bright and ambitious finance analyst to join the team. This is a UK based role supporting central functions that would be a great opportunity for someone keen to enter the field of international development. The successful candidate will; Manage the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes Support budget holders with budgeting and forecasting and scenario planning, discussing financial performance and highlighting areas for concern Produce timely and accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts Provide variance analysis and commentary and take responsibility for any relevant adjustments in the financial system; Control accounts and Bank reconciliations Perform fund Balances reconciliations for restricted grants and journal entries Grant revenue recognition analysis and journals entries Be responsible for the preparation of annual accounts and notes. Liaise with the external auditors ensuring all queries are dealt with promptly. You will ideally be a finalist or fully qualified CCAB accountant with experience in management accounts. Charity experience would be advantageous but applicants from commerce and industry interested in entering the field are also encouraged to apply. You will be experienced in carrying out complex reconciliations and be proficient in excel. The role is evolving and comes with some generous benefits and a brilliant working culture.
