Health Care Assistant, Adult Critical Care FULL-TIME (Part-time considered) Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest in the UK and is the Major Trauma Centre for the East Midlands. The Critical Care service at NUH has 58 beds over three separate locations over 2 sites. Adult Critical Care are looking to employ a motivated and conscientious person to join our friendly and dynamic multi professional team caring for critically ill patients and their families. The person will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure in what can be a distressing environment. They will be able to prioritise and manage their own workload. They will be assisting the registered nurse with patient care and will perform housekeeping duties to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the unit. Adult Critical Care provides the highest quality of care in a professional and friendly atmosphere. Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incurs a cost dependent on the level of check required (£49 for enhanced and £31 for standard). I agree to reimburse NUH NHS Trust the cost of a DBS check if it is required (by deduction from first month’s pay). Should I decide to withdraw from my job offer, I agree to reimburse NUH NHS Trust the cost of the DBS check undertaken by cheque or other agreed method.
