Job Title: Internal Account Manager Location: Verwood Salary: DOE Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5pm A role within a Sales team but without the "cold" aspect - this role is perfect for you if you're currently working in Customer Service, you like exceeding expectations and ultimately being recognised for your talents. You'll be in charge of a portfolio of B2B clients, managing the experience of the clients' purchases from the company from start to finish. You'll welcome them on once they've spoken to the Sales team, recommend additional purchases to complement their orders, upselling and maximising spend. Job Purpose: To outbound call a list of Key Account and Framework customers with a clear goal to secure incremental sales for our client. To own a list of Accounts and to penetrate potential and existing users to secure the company as the Preferred Supplier of products within these Accounts. Key Responsibilities: Deliver the annual Sales Target for Accounts. To identify new sites and users within the Account base and to convert these into sales revenue. To probe their customer base, understand the needs of their customer and secure our client as the Preferred Supplier. To network at all levels within the company to ensure that the necessary support is provided to their Accounts. To maintain accurate, comprehensive and up to date Account records for their customers To liaise effectively with internal colleagues, ensuring that any requested information is promptly and accurately supplied. To work as part of a team to achieve targets Competencies required for the role: The ability to persuade, influence and sell. Strong self-motivation and the desire to outperform targets Strong customer relationship building skills Ability to gain immediate credibility and trust. Outstanding communication skills. PC and system literate Candidate Profile: Team Player Professionalism Results orientated with a clear determination to succeed. Confident, self-starter Resilient and tough minded. First class written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Highly numerate and articulate. Energetic, enthusiastic and likeable. Well organised, reliable and thorough. Analytical. Ideal Experience/Intellect: Successful telephone sales experience, preferably selling industrial products to corporate end users. A demonstrable track record of successfully exceeding targets in a commercial environment gained over a minimum of 3 years. Experience of managing and growing national Key Account contracts.
