Summary of the job roleInternal Business Development Manager Leicester LE4 Our client was founded in 1974 as a manufacturer of brass turned parts used in fluid transfer. In recent years we now have expanded our offering and distribute for same day / next day delivery 42,000 products from leading fluid power product manufactures to fluid power suppliers in the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe. Due to continued growth and to develop our business further they are looking to appoint an Internal Business Development Manager to join our existing team based from our Leicester Office. A brief description of the key responsibilities and the person we are looking for is outlined below. Key Responsibilities: •Responsible for the effective & professional daily telephone call management to a database of existing customers to defend existing and develop new profitable business •Responsible for the effective & professional daily telephone call management to a database of prospect customers to open credit accounts and develop new profitable business •Responsible for developing sales growth in line with business expectations and forecasts, by effectively understanding your allocated customer needs and requirements •Responsible for ensuring quotations are effectively generated, issued & progressed for your allocated customers •Responsible for recording and keeping accurate and up to date records of telephone call content, contact details and other relevant customer information in our CRM system We are looking for someone who: •Is very passionate and enthusiastic •Has and can demonstrate successful Internal Business Development Management experience, ideally 3-5 years •Has the ability to effectively engage existing and prospect customers to create profitable new enquiries & sales •Has strong IT system & communication skills •Can effectively multi task & has strong organisation skills •Is confident in their own abilities Benefits: · Recently modernised & air conditioned office · Own personal workstation · Working on a team island · Unlimited free refreshments · Free car parking · Free use of gym – out of working hours · Free use of showers – out of working hours · Rest room with TV for lunch breaks · Working as part of a driven sales team · After 3 months service will be covered with 3 x annual basic salary death in service life insurance · After 3 months service will be rolled into the company pension scheme The salary and benefits package will be competitive and commensurate with the importance we are attaching to this position.
