Prospero Integrated are working closely with a very successfull AV /event production comapny who are looking to take on an Internal Operations Manager As a rapidly expanding audio visual company, we are actively seeking an Internal Operations Manager to join our ever-growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, super organised, not afraid to get their hands dirty and has great people management skills. The ideal candidate would have great communication skills, leadership skills, a flexible and positive approach and a strong technical competence. Primary responsibilities - General management of all internal warehouse operations - Ensure the Check in & Check Out process operates effectively - Manage our internal PAT testing and LOLER certification process in line with internal guidelines - Manage staffing levels and staff rotas - Space management, ensuring appropriate storage is in place - For all new kit purchases, ensure flight cases, cables, brackets etc are purchased, that the kit is added to our internal system - Ensure communications between the warehouse and Sales team continue to remain fluid - Oversee kit repairs - Oversee WEE recycling - Manage the maintenance & repair of our Safe Plant Equipment - Oversee equipment demonstrations - Undertake ad-hoc projects as required - Building management - Ensure security gates, door entry systems and intruder alarm systems are well maintained. Ensuring that when the business is closed, appropriate security measures are in place - Ensure Fire and Emergency Lighting systems are maintained to a high standard and any issues promptly resolved - Ensure general repairs and maintenance are taken care of in a cost effective timely fashion. - Ensure all waste is appropriately and effectively disposed of - Adhoc tasks performed around the building as required If you feel you fulfil the critera listed above and would like to be part of a great team please send your CV into us today We look forward to hearing from you - People Management - Managing and supporting Warehouse Duty Managers and Supervisors - Act as a higher level reporting point for all warehouse staff - Undertake performance development reviews for direct reports - Internal IT - Ensuring that IT issues are dealt with appropriately according to their urgency - General - On-call responsibility for 1 week out of every 3 - Representing Internal Operations at Operations meetings - Provide advice and assistance to main Ops as and when needed - Acting as a senior member of the company, willing to support wherever is required. Qualifications and pre-requisites - A strong technical competency - Excellent organisational and time management skills - An ability to manage key stakeholder relationships - An ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels (both written and verbally) - A natural leader with an ability to manage, engage and motivate a team, as well as cooperate with others and work well within a team environment - A flexible approach to work and the needs of the business and its customers - Able to set targets, be proactive and show strong initiative - A client-focused person that seeks to exceed expectations - A self-motivated person with a positive attitude We are an equal opportunities employer.
