Job Role: Talent Acquisition Consultant Company: Reed Specialist Recruitment Department: HR - Talent Acquisition Team Reporting to: Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner Based: Northampton Town Centre (Charles House) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm with a 1 hour lunch break Contract: Full Time and Permanent Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience plus bonus earning potential What is the role? The Talent Acquisition Team at REED manage all internal recruitment for the organisation, including Reed Specialist Recruitment and Reed Online. The team are split into 4 teams focusing on recruitment into our Network agency business (RSR), Reed Talent Solutions, EMEA, Reed Online and Central Support, the Graduate and Early Talent schemes. Responsible for over 1,000 external hires each year, this team knows how to recruit. Due to an internal promotion we are now looking for a talented recruiter to join our busy team focusing on recruitment across Talent Solutions and EMEA. This role requires an excellent communicator to be the face of REED and, therefore, you will need to be warm, friendly and professional. You will need to quickly get to grips with how to position REED as an employer of choice, through compelling attraction messages, as well as attention to detail and exemplary customer skills. We expect all candidates, no matter what the outcome, to receive an excellent service. Working on a wide range of vacancies from managing high volume contract recruitment roles through to niche headhunting for specialist roles. You will need to understand some complex business areas to deliver against their recruitment requirements. You will not just be expected to find a candidate, but to have a large involvement in the recruitment methods and processes including writing bespoke job adverts and job descriptions, trialling and understanding new assessment processes and regularly updating your recruitment expertise and market knowledge as well as advising Hiring Managers on recruitment best practice. The Person We are looking for someone with previous experience in recruitment whether it be in-house/internal recruitment or resourcing/recruiting for external clients. You will need to be able to demonstrate skills in sourcing and attracting excellent candidates and ideally at all levels from Interns through to Directors. You are a team player who loves recruiting and who doesn’t mind being pushed out of your comfort zone from time to time.
