Summary of the job role

An outstanding opportunity to join a company at a time of accelerated growth to attract and retain talented people In this role you will be focusing on our future talent pipeline, attracting and selecting across the UK and Ireland business (with occasional European recruitment); resourcing for our apprenticeship and graduate hire programmes as well as ensuring direct pipelines of Talent to fill roles at all levels. Key responsibilities and accountabilities Work closely with HR Partnering team to understand the Talent Maps, Succession and Workforce plans as well as expected attrition, review regularly and create resource plans to support the strategy Build and maintain relationships with the Partnering team and hiring managers at all levels to gain clear understanding of role requirements and support them in their recruitment activities, from attraction to selection and through to onboarding stage Regularly work at offices across the country, building relationships and understanding the local environments and needs of the teams Source candidates using main and niche recruitment channels to achieve 100% direct hires for junior and high volume roles; including building local networks, appropriate job boards, local media, community branding and leveraging press, social and multimedia tools Source more challenging specialist or senior management roles using multimedia sources but also managing cost effective, value adding relationships with third party providers, where necessary As a trusted advisor who knows your business, manage the sifting process including analysis of applications and telephone or online interviews to devise your recommended shortlist of candidates for hiring managers As an expert assessor, support managers, where necessary, with the selection process, coaching them to manage an interview, select appropriately, as well as sell our brand and be legally compliant throughout Ensure the SuccessFactors system is continually up to date for your vacancies and candidates Work with the Partnering team and the Talent specialist to develop the annual resourcing plans for Graduate and Apprenticeship schemes, managing timely campaigns, building links and branding with appropriate schools, universities, apprenticeship providers and colleges to ensure the quality and quantity of people is achieved Be commercially savvy; demonstrating cost and time reduction as well as quality and diversity of hires Produce appropriate Business Information as necessary to support the measurements and cost focus of the business Ensure a first class, professional candidate experience, including pre-screening, telephone and face to face interviewing, progress updates and offer process - ensuring the brand messaging is instilled throughout Continuously seek ways to simplify and improve our talent acquisition processes Candidate profile: You will be a results orientated, customer focused, passionate direct sourcer of talented people. Personable and with great communication skills, you will be able to deliver a professional, high quality, direct sourcing service, understanding the need to closely monitor spend and reduce business costs whilst supporting the business to select high quality candidates. You are likely to have come from an in house recruitment team at a larger employer or from a first class recruitment agency.
