Summary of the job roleThis position is part of a team that is responsible for producing commercial and technical quotations for Industrial Pumps and Systems to a wide range of UK customers whilst supporting their external Sales Engineers. Using customer specifications provided by their engineering sales team or direct from their customers, you will produce accurate quotations for customised solutions. You will also be tasked with responding to customer technical enquiries. You must have an interest in learning new technologies and industrial applications as well as strong analytical skills. You will be bright and confident and should have a high level of computer literacy, especially in MS Word and Excel. You will have an engineering qualification (HND/HNC or Degree level). Previous pump industry experience would be of great benefit. Training for the role will consist of in house and also overseas travel to their represented manufacturers. You may be required to occasionally visit accounts; therefore a current driving licence would be essential.
