Summary of the job roleThe Company: •Leading global supplier of specialist chemicals used in manufacturing •A product range of over 10,000 •Excellent reputation for quality and service with customers globally •Recognised as being the leading supplier in the UK •An exciting opportunity to join a growing team The Role: Internal Sales executive •Telesales, increasing business from within existing accounts. •A mix of proactive and reactive phone calls. •70% existing business to 30% new business. •Selling chemicals and raw materials (chemicals knowledge is not a prerequisite). •Selling to Material Science and Life Science manufacturers. •You will be targeted on multiple KPIs. These include the amount of new products sold into existing accounts, amount of new products into new accounts, number of outbound calls made, lead-times, retention of new and existing accounts. The Ideal Person: •Looking for a strong, confident individual. •You will have a confident telephone manor. •You will be target driven and proactive. •You will have experience of selling against targets or budgets. •Experience selling in a fast paced environment. •Chemical Industry knowledge is desirable but not essential.
