Summary of the job role

Our client is a well-respected independent timber & builders merchant. Due to their continued success and expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity as we are recruiting a Sales Coordinator to join their team and service their customers both over the phone and over the trade counter when needed. The key responsibilities of this role include: Be the first point of contact for customers arriving at the branch Service customers over the trade counter and over the telephone Provide good customer service and good advice on products for their customers Ensuring that the branch is kept tidy and health & safety is adhered to at all times Make sure the shop floor is fully stocked Make proactive sales calls to new and existing customers during quieter periods The ideal candidate would need to have a good knowledge of timber and building materials and have previous experience or very similar.
