My client, a long established company working in the field of distribution are looking for an Internal Technical Sales Executive to join their team based in Knaresborough. This is a key role for building the team for the next few years and offers great potential for career progression in the sales team. The role will involve: Handling in-house sales accounts and repeat orders Sourcing new customers, including cold calling etc. on own initiative and as part of the sales team activities Identifying the correct product for each customer Processing orders in an accurate and timely manner Ensure deliveries are on time with close liaison to the operations team, keeping the customers up to date with any issues Sales of the Worldtravel range of products both to retailers, and in the promotional market Experience required: Sales experience ideally in the Business to Business/OEM sectors Understanding of product technical data etc. - training will be provided but the client needs to see an indication of suitable skillset and aptitude Self-motivated but also able to work as part of a team Ability to assist with marketing activities for all product ranges Fully IT literate and proficient, professional, punctual and reliable In return the successful applicant will receive a competitive salary, dependent upon experience, in addition to an uncapped Company wide bonus scheme, a friendly and exciting working atmosphere and a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career.
