For more information, please visit www.creativecultureint.com The role: We are currently recruiting a New Business and Marketing Manager with keen interest in sales, global marketing and cross-cultural matters, willing to get involved in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This role is directly supervised by our CEO, and you will be in charge of managing a team of interns (1 to 2). The New Business and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and generating business worldwide, and specifically in our key markets (the UK, the US, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland). The selected candidate can expect to be involved in the following areas: Sales and business development: Primary responsibility (70%). This involves identifying business opportunities and prospects in the areas of international marketing and advertising (both creative agencies and advertisers), managing our emailing strategy, occasionally cold calling leads, preparing presentations, business meetings as well as getting actively involved in business proposals and pitches, attending events and client meetings, as well as writing striking case studies. Marketing (30%): The marketing and comms responsibility involves two areas: 1) overseeing the creation of relevant thought leadership content to support the business’ growth in the industry and realm of cross-cultural communications (podcasts, white papers, etc.) as well as overseeing the management of our social media and digital strategy (Linkedin, Twitter and blog). 2) Organising breakfast roundtables with senior marketing and comms executives around a specific country, attending and writing key notes following the event. Training and Professional Development: A thorough training programme is available to the candidate. It is progressive in order to ensure a good integration within the team. The New Business and Marketing Manager will be overseen by the CEO who will monitor their progress and offer additional support on a daily basis. As a company, we take professional development very seriously. Therefore we propose a range of tools and processes that enable our employees to grow within their role and expand on skill sets. A system of weekly assessment is organised with their line manager. This is complemented by sessions of reviews and appraisals in person, which take place monthly during the probation period and quarterly thereafter. Requirements: Essential /required experience Your English must be fluent (written and spoken) to ensure smooth exchanges with all external and internal collaborators. You must be eligible to work in the UK. Experience in sales and/or marketing are highly recommended. Understanding of the UK advertising and marketing industry is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package is a must. Excellent organisational, communication and people’s skills. Pro-activity and solution-seeking skills. Desired Fluency in French is recommended as part of our New Business effort targets French speaking countries and clients. Experience with design software (i.e. Photoshop or InDesign) and SEO a plus.
