IT Helpdesk Technical Support Junior / Trainee / Entry Level shifted evenings / weekends An excellent opportunity to start an IT career on a Technical Support Helpdesk. Looking for a technically minded individual with some experience in a customer service role, ideally telephone based, to be trained to support an in-house application used to run IT in hospitality environments. Previously successful candidates have had an IT qualification A Level in IT, BTEC In Computing etc, and worked in a call centre or telephone based customer service / sales role. If you have worked in a pub or restaurant on a touch screen till system, you've probably seen similar software. This role is to be the 1st and 2nd line of support to users with issue on the system. We have to support the customers over their opening hours, so the shift pattern covers 7 days per week, from 08:00 - 23:00 daily on a 40 hour per week pattern. You will work 5 days out of 7 on either 08:00 - 17:00 (days) or 14:00 - 23:00 (lates). You will be paid a starting salary of £20000 which rises to £22000 after training and successfully passing your 6 months probation. Due to poor public transport at some shift finish times very local or applicants with their own transport are preferred.
