Graduate Technical Sales – Optics/Photonics – Hertfordshire – LM1181 Salary / benefits: Competitive. Job Term: Permanent / Full Time / Onsite Job Outline: Do you have a background in Optics, or Photonics? A market leading supplier of Optics and Opto Mechanics, is now looking for an additional Graduate Technical Sales Engineer to join their growing team at their Hertfordshire facility. Working alongside the Sales Engineers you will be involved in a range of sales and applications activities, aimed at promoting and selling my clients range of specialist opto and optical assemblies. Working closely with the internal design and development teams, and the end user/customer you will be involved with both commercial and technical aspects of the business. Supporting the existing Sales Team and Customers you will be working with, a diverse range of customers, including Scientists, Engineers and Optical Designers. Within the role, you will be providing customers with both pre and post sales technical support and commercial/sales information etc, and over time you will become the ‘Product Expert’ for all technical and commercial enquiries. In addition to the technical and sales duties, you will also be required to generate quotations, follow up on sales enquiries and update the CRM system as required. Whilst this is predominantly an office-based role, there may be some requirement to travel to visit customers, or attend meetings. Full product training will be given. Qualifications/Experience: Whilst sales experience is not essential, you are expected to have a background in Physics, Photonics or Optics and be educated to Degree level or higher. Additional Information: Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK - Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested. All candidates MUST have a current UK driving licence.
