The Association of Master Tradesmen is a consumer protection body and trade association made up of professionals in the building trade.
OUR AIMS Our aim is to drive up standards within the building industry, setting a bench mark of excellence that all building companies can aim to achieve. Through education, partnership and mutual respect we aim to create a safe and fair market for consumers while promoting the interests of our members.
OUR BUILDERS At the Association of Master Tradesmen, we have strict membership criteria to ensure a continued standard of excellence to customers. Any members have had their references checked, certificates and qualifications verified and have supplied us with proof of up-to-date public liability insurance. We continually monitor the work of our builders to ensure they continue to offer the highest level of service while they retain their membership. In order to achieve this, we conduct regular site visits on jobs that our builders have completed on behalf of our clients so we can inspect their workmanship first hand. If we find substandard work, we reserve the right to terminate a builder's membership with our association.
THE PROCESS If you are a customer submitting an enquiry, we will match you up with up to three approved builders local to you. We choose the builders we think would be most suitable for your job. You then have the option to receive free no obligation quotes from the builders we have selected. You will also receive our free consumer guide via email. The guide outlines all the basics you need to think about and put in to action to ensure your project goes as smoothly as possible.
WHERE WE OPERATE The Association of Master Tradesmen has members all around England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
