Bristol City Council is a local authority with responsibility for a host of different aspects of life affecting the people of Bristol. Bristol City Council ensures the city is maintained effectively, we carry out statutory services including health, education and welfare and we provide housing, education, training and other services. We employ approximately 4,500 staff members and a further 5,000 in local schools. Knowle West Children's Centre provides nursery places for 1,2 3 and 4 year olds and also other support services such as; home visits, parenting support, information on child's health needs, training courses and help to find specialist support or groups. The centre is recently refurbished and offers a fantastic outdoor space for the children to play
