Apprentice Service Engineer (Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Heat Pump) Bristol | Monday-Friday - 9:00-17:00 | Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Come join us as an Apprentice Engineer at Daikin, where working in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is nothing short of COOL. Perks: £16,925 pa (£8.67 per hour) - That’s 35% more than the national apprentice wage 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Access to exclusive discounts on shopping, dining, and gym memberships Full uniform provided Pathway to a Junior Service Engineer role with increased earning potential Once qualified, you’ll be entitled to an electric van and all the tools you need Life as a Service Engineer Apprentice: Accompanied by our experienced Service Engineers, you'll hit the road to engage in planned on-site visits with both commercial and residential customers. Together, you'll carry out thorough fault finding and diagnostics to tackle a variety of issues concerning air-con, refrigeration and heat pump units, with the aim of first-time fix. Whilst you’ll be out on the roads, you’ll also visit our Thornbury Workshop and Almondsbury Office (30-60 mins from Bristol centre). You may need to report to our Almondsbury office daily, so please check your travel. College Attendance: Every 1 week out of 7, you will take a trip to The City of Liverpool College. During these visits, you'll engage in classroom learning which is essential for achieving your qualifications. It's a fantastic chance to connect with peers and gain theoretical knowledge that you can put into practice. And don't worry, your travel, hotels, and meals will all be taken care of Training and Qualifications: Level 3 Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pump Apprenticeship Certificate Level 2 Certificate in F Gas and ODS Regulations Category 1 Apprenticeship Requirements: GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English and Science (grade 4 or above) About you: No work experience? No problem At Daikin, we’re more interested in your ambition to start a career as an Engineer, along with your eagerness to learn. You’ll be interacting directly with customers so clear, concise communication skills are essential. Good technical understanding of IT will also come in handy.
