          Your typical working hours in this role will be between 40 and 45 hours a week, including weekend and evening work. You may find that you also have on-call duties to cover off-peak hours.

Once you are experienced, your annual salary will increase to £20,000 to £25,000 per annum and once you are highly experience, you can earn between £25,000 to £30,000.

          What qualifications does a Satellite systems technician need?

          Employers may ask for electrical engineering NVQs. These can be acquired through a two-year college course. However, some employers may require GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C).
