About the role Here at Redwood Bank, we are currently looking for a Finance Intern to join us on a 12-month placement. As part of the Internship, you will rotate between the whole of our Finance department, gaining valuable experience in Finance, ALM, Treasury and Financial Planning and Analysis. As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various accounting functions within the Bank. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, where you will collaborate closely with our finance team to ensure the smooth operation. Role responsibilities Finance Accounts Payable General Ledger Payments ALM Daily Control production Producing IRR reports out of WALM system Data input for FTP/RAROC Treasury Daily Liquidity and Cashflow Processes Support for ALCo Management of Treasury Assets using TMS FP&A Helping to run different scenarios Running trend analysis in excel Personal Attributes & Experience For this role, we are looking for someone who is currently studying a financial degree at university and is looking for a year placement to gain some on hands experience. You will need experience in Excel, have a friendly, approachable, and professional manner and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Being analytical with the drive to initiate new ideas, improvements and plans will be key to being successful in this internship.
