Job title: Level 3 Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship Salary: £10.30 per hour plus Veolia benefits Location: Winsford Programme Duration: 42 months Candidate shortlisting will take place w/c 27th May 2024 and assessment days will take place between w/c 3rd - 10th June 2024. Throughout the 42-month programme, you will continue to develop your behaviours such as team working, problem-solving and customer focus. As well as gaining a broad range of technical and professional knowledge and experience, you'll also gain academic and vocational qualifications such a Level 3 Technical (Knowledge) Certificate BTEC In Engineering, NVQ Level 3 (Competency) in Engineering & Working Safety (H&S) Certificate. What will you be doing? Throughout the 42-month programme, you will gain exposure to a range of experience through. Carrying out regular inspections, repairs and modifications as well as assisting with the commissioning of new plant and machinery Adhering and working to site safety rules, regulations and standards, such as Permit to Work and equipment isolations procedure and PPE standards Maintaining and updating site risk assessments, completing quality and production documents and records Recording use of stock and ensuring levels are maintained as well as picking/packing of spare parts orders Accurately completing all necessary paperwork including shift reports and a record of all maintenance work undertaken Performing any other duties reasonably requested by management or your supervisors What are we looking for? A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4 (C or equivalent) or above/predicted to include English, Maths & Science. A Full UK driving licence (desirable due to travelling between sites for development) A passion for engineering A high level of flexibility with an eagerness to learn and work in a team environment Willingness to travel to college and overnight stays if required Assessments As a part of your online application, you will need to complete gamified assessment challenges before we can consider your application for this position.
