Graduate Account Manager

Summary of the job role

Our client is looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their existing team. The Account Manager is a key member of the team and plays a fundamental role in the successful delivery of products and services to their customers and consequently the success and profitability of the Business. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including overall ownership of key customers, development of key client relationships, optimisation of revenue opportunities and input into the strategic development of the department as a whole. The Account Manager ultimately owns all customer relationships within a customer and will be responsible for ensuring our products are delivering the maximum possible value to our customers. Responsibilities: • Relationship and Account Management Strategic ownership of a portfolio of customers Responsible for building and maintaining excellent customers’ relationships Ownership of the delivery of their products and services into our clients Management of account strategies and plans to deliver client objectives Implementation of change management processes within customers Production and analysis of management information Agreement and delivery of client SLAs and KPIs Revenue Management & Expansion: Responsible for management and delivery of revenues Contract maximisation and extension Identification of opportunities within current client base Management of expansion of their products and services into existing client base Delivery of presentations to prospective new clients Promotion of their products Essential Skills: • Degree educated, second class honours or above • Excellent communication skills • Highly motivated and target focused • Strong ability to multi task and prioritise • Excellent presentation skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Strong problem solving and organisation skills • Experience in client transformation • Experience in business development and able to evidence a high success track record The Person: The key element to the Account Management role is in building and developing relationships. As such the Account Manager will be highly personable and diplomatic; he or she will need to show judgement that can be trusted to deliver the right results. The Account Manager must be able to influence client and supplier behaviour to ensure the best possible value is being realised from the solution at all times. The successful applicant will also be highly analytical, with a proven ability to interpret a set of figures and create an action plan based on the results. The Account Manager will be required to articulate information in a way that is both interesting and compelling allowing clients to arrive at informed decisions.
