We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Financial Services Dispute and Investigations Team in Cardiff. This is a fee earning role managing your own portfolio of cases, and potentially assisting other team members, acting for financial institutions as the claimant. Key responsibilities: In this client facing role, you will work as part of a team providing legal advice to clients on secured recoveries cases . You may also, as part of the team, have exposure to aspects of high value complex litigation subject to appropriate supervision. Skills and experience: Legally trained to degree level potentially with an LPC but this is not essential, prior experience of litigation is preferred. Commitment and attention to detail are essential as is being able to demonstrate service delivery and financial target achievement. Good organisational ability and proven IT skills are also important. Key competencies: You will be self-motivated, client centered and able to meet tight/changing deadlines. You will be an excellent communicator with sound time management skills and be able to work as part of a team.
