Summary of the job roleOur client is a global brand, with a fantastic offering and large growth plans. As they continue to invest in their marketing offering, they have a brand new position available to work closely with their Marketing Manager on a range of large scale projects. This role would suit a recent marketing graduate, or someone with 1-2 years’ experience who is looking to take on more responsibility. This is a genuinely varied position, which will give you exposure to many elements of the marketing mix, whilst also providing the opportunity to specialise your skills at a later time, should you wish. Day to day, you’ll support the Marketing Manager to: - Update content on the company website - Write copy for a range of publications, marketing collateral and/or press releases - Coordinate exhibitions and events - Create marketing collateral - Research market/competitor activity - Analyse sales figures - Run SEO and PPC campaigns - Manage external agencies and freelancers - Complete marketing administration About you The ideal candidate will be driven and enthusiastic, with great IT literacy and the ability to pick up new systems quickly. You’ll be comfortable working with numbers in order to evaluate campaigns, and you’ll have a great attention to detail. If you have a creative skillset and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, that would be an advantage, though it’s not essential. For the right candidate with the right attitude, this role will grow and give you the opportunity to gain responsibility quickly and develop your marketing career. Due to the location of my client’s office, this role is best suited to a candidate who is able to drive and has their own transport. Commutable locations include Harrogate, York, Ripon, Northallerton and surrounding.
