This is a brand-new role due to company growth for somebody to work within dual role producing a range of engineering publications using the Adobe suite of tools and producing engineering designs and drawings using SolidWorks CAD. Your background as a Graduate Technical Publications Designer : We are looking for a candidate that will enjoy working within an engineering business understand how the products are designed and manufactured to enable you to optimise the technical documentation / designs you will create and produce. You will be degree qualified in an engineering or product design or similar subject. Some experience of using Adobe suite and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks is needed for this role. Graduate Technical Publications Designer responsibilities: Producing a diverse range of product technical / engineering documents including operator manuals, build instructions, and technical bulletins, using Adobe and SolidWorks 3D CAD. Using your creative skills to generate innovative technical documents for brand new and current specialist machinery and equipment. You will have the opportunity to generate CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD and support the design engineering team. This job is commutable from Derby, Ashbourne, Belper, Hilton, Foston, Uttoxeter, Burton upon Trent, Alfreton, Ashby-del-Zouch, Swadlincote, Rocester, Matlock.
