Summary of the job role

Are you a Computer Science or IT graduate looking for your first role out of University? As an Integration Developer you will join our global business, Loxam Powered Access at a really exciting time. You'll design, develop, maintain and support integration services, which are used within our IT systems to support internal and external systems, both for customers and suppliers. Our middleware technology is based on Mulesoft Anypoint ESB and complete training on this technology can be provided if necessary. Initially you'll work on the following integration projects: Internet of Things (IoT) Salesforce (CRM) eCommerce We are a small team in Morley, Leeds (head office is in Leicestershire and the wider IT function are based there), In return you will receive a competitive salary (depending on experience), 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays 5% capped contributory pension and access to our Health Cash Plan. Responsibilities • You will be working on one or more projects relating to our core technology platforms. • Working with our solution architect to clarify and help design solutions. • Designing and delivering excellent performant, stable & secure integrations. • The role supports the administration of the IT systems, live data, configuration management and end-to-end support. • As well as hands-on technical support, the role provides knowledge transfer to Service Desks and other teams in the UK, Middle East and Europe, and is a point of contact when answering questions around these systems. • Working closely with our Senior Analyst programmers, QA team and Business Analysts to assist with new solutions to meet new business requirements • Improve the architecture, stability and operations best practices of these IT systems. • To conform to and adopt industry standards and best practices, system updates and fixes • Be a technical authority in these IT systems, including testing and troubleshooting • Share their knowledge in the education of others and usage of these IT systems • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills. • Strong team skills including the ability at times to lead, but mainly be a team player. Qualifications and Experience Requirements • Degree in computer science or IT-related subject • Excellent knowledge and experience relating to application integrations • Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control and deployment • Experience in secure coding practices and security by design • Experience in the following technologies (essential): o Languages: such as Java or JavaScript • Experience in some of the following technologies (preferred): o API Management & API Documentation: such as Swagger o Message Orientated Middleware: Azure Service Bus, Rabbit MQ or AnypointMQ o Enterprise Service Bus: such as SAG WebMethods, Jitterbit or Dell Boomi Supporting Information • Comfortable working in a small team and as part of a larger IT function • Analytical thinker and experienced problem solver • Comfortable with ambiguity and change, and able to “fill in the gaps” • Eye for detail, who is comfortable being hands-on • Commercially astute • Great communication skills with the ability to work with the wider business. • Ability to translate technical information into simplified terms for the development of these IT systems • Understanding of emerging developments in IT technology and their application • Understanding of best practices and emerging threats in cyber security • Be part of a team that will work on projects, operational and business as usual activities
