Cover Supervisor (PE Specialism) £80 - £110 per day Sheffield / Chesterfield / Barnsley / Doncaster Part-time/Full-time, fully flexible Career Teachers are proud to be working with a wide range of schools throughout the Sheffield and South Yorkshire area. We are looking for Cover Supervisors to work with us across these schools. You don't need to have any teaching qualifications; you just need the passion and drive to support and guide pupils through key stage 3 and 4 learning modules. The main responsibility of the role is to manage the classroom of pupils and ensure they are working effectively on their pre-set work across a range of subjects, including; P.E, English, Science, Maths, Drama and many more. The size of your classes will vary (up to 30 students), so we require confident individuals who can pro-actively engage and lead the classroom towards to competition of their work. What do we look for? You will be used to working within a team focused environment and support your colleagues where required, as you will be working closely alongside other staff members, such as teachers and teaching assistants throughout the school. You will have a passion for leading and working with the students and encouraging them achieve the best results possible as they work towards their key stage 3 and 4 exams. The ideal candidate will be looking towards to a career within teaching in the future and this would be the perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience to help and support your possible career options. Experience within a teaching role is not essential, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds with varying levels of experience. Salary & working hours: Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between £80 to £110. This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time positions available - meaning, you have full control of when you are looking to work and how many hours you want to complete.
