Summary of the job roleGraduate teaching assistants required Greater London Immediate start £65-80 per day Previous experience working with children is DESIRABLE At Veritas we are working with a number of state and independent primary, secondary and SEN schools across London. Due to high demand we are currently recruiting graduates for long term support roles to begin asap and in January. As a teaching assistant you will be: dedicated to helping children achieve their attainment levels you will encourage students to engage proactively with their learning you will be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn. You will assist the teacher in the students general learning and development as well as with behaviour management, consistently promoting positive behaviour. Ideally you will already have some experience of working with children, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher. You will have a degree in any subject area and ideally have Maths and English GCSE grades A-C. The roles we offer are on supply basis, they may be long term or short term, including daily supply. We occasionally place permanenet support staff in schools. You will need to have a DBS on the update service - if you do not have one you will need to apply for one which you can do so through Veritas.
