Job description We need: Risk Analyst- EUC Governance Team at our Swindon Head Office £25,421 to £36,720 a year on a permanent full time contract Salary dependant on current package and experience Send in your application by 11/04/2019 Modelling within MS Excel and building sophisticated operational spreadsheets is a great way to showcase talent whilst adding value to your employer. However, every EUC tool built, despite best intentions, may well be adding EUC risk. The EUC Governance Team is responsible for maintaining and promoting the EUC Standard and encouraging good practice within the Society. This involves; Ensuring the EUC estate is made visible by the business, through engagement and education; Supporting the business with criticality and controls self-assessments; Building internal reports and reporting findings to management, along with suggested remedial actions; Establishing relationships with other teams to ensure efficient work practices. You'll be spending a lot of time working with data, producing MI and analysis and engaging with stakeholders from across each part of the Society at all levels. Who we're looking for As a minimum you'll need to: Have strong mathematical skills and/or coding experience Have experience of writing management reports Plan and organise activity to deliver quality work in a timely manner Have strong written and verbal communication skills Be a pro-active self-starter with the ability to identify problems and propose solutions Have an ability to apply critical thinking and communicate your views to a diverse set of stakeholders, displaying the confidence to challenge, where appropriate. Have experience of a risk management environment or other relevant business role It would be nice if you also had but not essential for the right candidate: Have previous experience in building, maintaining and/or reviewing complex end user solutions. Have a relevant professional qualification, or studying towards such qualification What you'll be doing As a Risk Analyst, you'll support all areas of the Society in the identification and self-assessment of their EUC estate. You'll be responsible, along for maintaining and evolving both internal data management tools and management reporting along with the rest of the EUC Governance Team. In addition to the above, you will help to further enhance the team's position as subject matter experts on EUC governance and good practice within the Society, leading by example in how to be efficient and effective in this area and providing training and guidance as deemed necessary.
