Graduate Teaching Assistant- Northampton Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant Job Type: Full Time Salary: £60-£75 (dependent on experience) Are you a creative graduate who has a passion for working with young people? Do you have a keen interest in developing your SEN understanding? Are you looking to gain experience in working with young people with social and mental health difficulties? About the Role: Full time, January 2018 start. You will be required to work on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties, including pupils who may sometimes be challenging on a physical level. Long term contract with the potential to go permanent. About you: Excellent behaviour management skills. Punctual and reliable. Calm and resilient approach. A passion for helping young people progress and develop. Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health difficulties is desirable.
