ABOUT THE AUDIT COMMISSION
Working a range of public sector organisations, our objective is to help them achieve best value in their work practices and processes. Entrusted with ensuring that over £180 billion of public money is wisely spent, we play a key role in enhancing and sustaining the delivery of many vital services (including local government, health, education and housing to name just four).
This year we will recruit around 40 graduate Trainee Auditors into vacancies throughout England. How often do you get the opportunity to make a real difference to both society at large and yourself? Here at the Audit Commission, our Auditors work closely with many public sector organisations in order to bring about service delivery improvements.
We promote a supportive and progressive culture for ambitious graduates keen to gain a professional qualification, while pursuing a career where they can make a genuine difference to people's lives. You'll be encouraged to work closely with professional, often senior level clients - ranging from Directors of Finance and GPs to Education Officers and Housing Managers - investigating and analysing their real issues and then recommending best-practice solutions.
