Graduate Finance Assistant Delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a Graduate Finance Assistant in Leicestershire. You will have a career path that you are hungry to climb Key deliverables: You will assist in the preparation of financial documents. Ensure all accounting practices and standards are applied. Continuous review and improvements of all processes. You will be seconded into different parts of the finance team so that you get an understanding of all areas of finance and full exposure. Assist in reconciling bank statements. Support the team in budgeting and forecasting. Manipulation of data and reports and share a passion for data driven insights. Respond and communicate with internal stakeholders in relation to financial information. Support cross functional finance projects across the business. Be accountable for improving financial processes and have the autonomy to make improvements, strategically driving the finance function. The Right Candidate: Will have a real passion and drive to progress your career. Have a finance and accounting degree or similar. Strong analytical skills. Excellent IT skills. Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Will want to learn and pursue a finance qualification, to which will be funded and supported. Good understanding of financial accounting principles. Take ownership and accountability, be happy to challenge the status quo Happy to drive change and have an inquisitive mind. Will be commercially astute. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Will lead from the front and be an excellent business ambassador. A gap placement or experience within a finance role would be beneficial.
