Founded in 1964 by the Cuthbert family, Canvas Holidays is the original and longest running overseas camping tour operator in the UK.
The Cuthbert's were regular campers to France each year and realised how useful it would be to have pre erected tents, with equipment already provided.
Canvas Holidays started out as a very small operation offering tent accommodation on only one campsite in Brittany in France.
Forty five years on and we now operate on 100 sites in France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria and offer 9 varieties of mobile home, chalets, lodges, Roulottes and tents on our sites throughout Europe.
