How much does a Management consultant travel?

Travel is a key competent of being a management consultant as you need to be based in your client's office. If working for a small company this can mean travelling around a county, or even the UK, whilst if you choose to work for a multinational company this can mean travelling around the world and spending substantial periods of time away from home.

How much does a Management consultant get paid?

Starting as a junior consultant for a large company you can expect to earn between £25,000 to £30,000 (although small companies can offer lower levels of pay to begin with).

After 3 - 5 years of experience this salary can increase to between £30,000 to £50,000, depending on experience and performance.

At the very top end, senior management consultants can earn anything up to around £125,000 a year, especially those with a performance bonus scheme.

What qualifications does a Management consultant need?
