          Lancaster has a brilliant 50 miles of traffic-free cycleways. The city is easily accessible by car via the M6 and there is a regular bus network within the city centre and surrounding areas.

          There are frequent trains locally and to other major cities including: London, Manchester, Glasgow, Blackpool; and five miles away in Heysham there is a car ferry journeying to Ireland and the Isle of Man operated by Stenaline.
