        Peterborough is well connected, with a fast and efficient public transport system. The bus services are affordable, but tickets must be paid for in cash. There is also a car-share service available.

        If you're keen on taking up cycling as a hobby, Peterborough has available a refurbished bicycle scheme which offers a fully-serviced refurbished bike, new accessories, cycle training and local cycle maps. This is part of the Green Wheel development and is called Travel Choice.
