          To get into London from Wiltshire you'll have to travel via Chippenham or Swindon depending where you are in the county. From Swindon the trains only take an hour and run roughly every fifteen minutes, however bus transport to Chippenham or Swindon can take some time and isn't particularly reliable.

          The average price per month to rent a one bedroom property in Wiltshire is £602 per calendar month per month, or £752 pcm for two bedrooms. To live in Swindon it's almost exactly the same, prices sit at £603 pcm and £745 pcm respectively.

          Nightlife

          Salisbury has been awarded Purple Flag Status for its nightlife, which is an award given to places with entertaining, diverse and safe nightlife. In the city you will find a variety of pubs and bars, and the iconic Chapel Nightclub, which is not to be missed. Swindon, the largest town in the county, also has a fair variety of bars and clubs to enjoy.

          Notable Attractions

          Perhaps the most famous attraction in Wiltshire is Stonehenge, but there are other ancient landmarks to visit too such as the Avebury stone circles. Longleat and Stourhead both boast splendid mansions and formal gardens whose estates are open to the public; for yet more beauty visit the medieval Salisbury Cathedral. Other notable attractions included Longleat Safari Park, The Salisbury Museum and Longleat Hedge Maze.

          Education Institutions in Wiltshire

          Wiltshire is one of very few counties in the United Kingdom that has neither a university or a university college. With the exception of a small campus of Oxford Brookes University in Swindon, the closest universities are the University of Bath or Bath Spa University.
