Our Experience / Expertise:
Today the company is truly a 'one stop shop' with an extensive range of transfer, progression and manual presses producing everything from simple pressings to hugely complex assemblies and unrivalled experience with the latest high tensile steels for BIW (Body in White) and bumper beam assemblies.
To achieve maximum efficiency, Covpress applies the Toyota Production System and Kaizen throughout the organisation and looks to support its customers through the design and development process to produce the most cost-effective result.
And those customers include a number of the major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to whom we supply BIW assemblies, structural components, heat shields, oil pans, pedal boxes and suspension components.
Covpress Engineering might have its roots in providing ingenious engineering solutions for the automotive sector. But today the company’s unrivalled levels of experience and expertise and its transferable skills have been harnessed to serve a wide range of industry sectors including environmental, utilities and the provision of satellite TV.
We are proud to be an Investors in People company and we embrace the principles of training and development of our people. We all share a common goal, to ensure we are "best in class" in terms of quality, delivery and price competiveness and be the first choice for our customers.
