Our company in a nutshell

We are unusual amongst the country's leading law firms in having a very distinctive culture. That culture comes from the heart of the firm - our people - whose personality, knowledge and expertise shines through in all areas of our service. Come and be part of it…

Who we are

Farrer & Co is a British independent law firm headquartered in London, serving private individuals, charitable institutions and corporations. We have, over more than three hundred years of operation, acted for many of the Kings and Queens of England and, in recent times, Queen Elizabeth II, as well as many leading public figures. We have 73 partners and over 400 employees.

Careers with us

We ensure that whatever the role at whatever the level, our people lead challenging and satisfying careers, providing them with the support and resources required for continuous development and a rewarding work/life balance.

We are proud of our high retention record. With one of the highest lawyer retention rates in the sector, we invest in our people, equipping them with the latest legal knowledge, methods and technology to give our clients the best possible service. And with numerous awards and great testimonials from our people themselves, we have a reputation as one of London's best law firms to work for.

We go further. Every year we take on between eight and ten trainees. These are people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures who recognise the importance of working for a law firm that regards trainees as an essential part of the team.
