Job title: Graduate Teaching assistant (Primary) Location: Sunderland Hours: 8:30 – 3:30pm Salary: £83 - £110 per day Are you a recent graduate? GSL is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in Sunderland. The school are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff. Graduate Teaching Assistant Provide dedicated support to teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development, offering individual attention and guidance. Taking small groups for interventions – for example Maths or Phonics Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing the classroom and clearing away after class to ensure effective teaching can take place Requirements of the role Positive approach to working with children and the ability to motivate, inspire and build rapport. You will have loads of initiative, be well organised and pro-active Respect for diversity, as you'll be working with pupils from a range of backgrounds Recently qualified or about to finish Teaching Assistant qualification.
