        The city has its own airport, which provides mostly UK and European links. The airport is a 19 minute drive from the city centre, or alternatively, 1 hour 30 minutes by bus. A railway network connecting the airport to the city is currently under construction.

        Aberdeen Rail Station is served by Abellio ScotRail, London North Eastern Railway, CrossCountry, Caledonian Sleeper (to London Euston). These offer a national service with links to the rest of Scotland and south towards London.

        The city has a large and detailed bus network, with a number of companies meaning there are routes within the city and running outside.

        There is a ferry service, providing links to Lerwick, Shetland and Kirkwell,Orkney.

        The City Council encourages cycling as a means of travel and has provided many on and off road cycle routes: Cycle Maps.

The Nightclub The Tunnels, is located in two tunnels under the city and promises an amazing night of dancing and music. Aberdeen Music Hall offers evenings of beautiful classical music if you're looking for something a little more relaxing.
