Winchester is a cathedral city set in the county of Hampshire in the south of England, 61 miles southwest of London. It is a city immersed in historical architecture and culture. Transport links
Winchester has a rail station providing links to London as well as the south coast, and the west country, and the northern cities of Newcastle, Birmingham and Manchester. It is served by South Western Rail and CrossCountry.

The nearest airport to the city is Southampton Airport. A direct train to Southampton Airport Parkway is just a 10 minute journey. From here you can fly to many international destinations.
