        Cost of living

The average house price in the East Midlands is £219,542, which is below average for the UK.

Some areas closer to London are more expensive, whereas the cities that are further north tend to be cheaper. Cities like Nottingham, Leicester or Derby are considerably cheaper than cities in the South, although this is often matched by lower wages.

        Renting Prices

        Nightlife

In the bigger cities, like Nottingham or Leicester, there's a wide range of bars, clubs and pubs that'll provide something for everyone.

There's a healthy live music scene, ranging from famous DJs to classical music performances.

There's not as many large cities in the East Midlands as in other areas of the UK, and there might be less to do in the quieter areas. You'll definitely find something if you know where to look!
