        Newcastle is home to the North East's largest airport and is easily accessible by train. Cross Country and Nexus recently launched a mobile ticketing system to the airport, making travel even easier.

        Newcastle Rail Station is a main stop on the East Coast Line and includes the services London North Eastern Railway, Cross Country, TransPennine Express, Northern. These services provide direct links north of the city into Scotland as well as down south to London.
