          The city has two rail stations, Worcester Foregate Street and Worcester Shrub Hill. The first is right in the city centre and the second is one mile east of the centre. Both stations are serviced by West Midlands Trains and run to Birmingham, London, Oxford and the Cotswolds, as well as providing national links to the rest of the country.

          A detailed bus route runs both within and outside the city, as well as a Park and Ride service.

          The nearest sizeable airport to Worcester is Birmingham Airport, providing the city with national and international links. The journey is 45 minutes by car, or alternatively, around 1 hour 15 minutes by train.

As well as the club scene, the city offers a wide selection of restaurants, and Worcester Live, the city's very own theatre, which is a charitable trust.

          Worcester has a large range of historical architecture, including Worcester Cathedral, the Tudor House Museum and the Commandery. The city is also surrounded by a number of parks and walks. One most popular is Kinver Edge, offering stunning views on a clear day. If you are a rugby fan, a visit to a Sixways Stadium match is also a great day out.

          The city is known for its manufacturing trade, most notably for its famous Worcester Sauce which has been made and bottled at the Midland Road Factory since 1897. Worcester also has a large retail sector with a number of shopping centres.
