Kingspan Access Floors was formed in 1903 and has a proud history in the construction industry. The head office and manufacturing unit is based in Hull where we employ 140 people in a friendly, informal atmosphere. We are the country's leading access floor manufacturer and installer of raised access floors for commercial office buildings. Kingspan's floors have been installed in some of the most iconic buildings in Canary Wharf and the City of London, including the Leadenhall Building, Heron Tower and One New Change. We are now looking to further our commitment with the appointment of an Environmental Supply Chain Co-ordinator. We need an enthusiastic person with an interest in linking environmental concerns to supply chain partners. The Co-ordinator will ensure the environmental aspects of our supply chain are complaint with our demanding standards and those of our customers. This is a permanent position and training will be provided to ensure a full understanding of both our business and that of our supply chain partners. Third party training will also be provided to ensure the Co-ordinator keeps fully abreast with changes in environmental legislation. The Co-ordinator will report directly to the Commercial Director and work closely with the Purchasing Manager, Marketing, Sales and Contracts teams. We need the Co-ordinator to develop good relationships no only with colleagues, but also customers and suppliers. Although based in Hull an important aspect of the role will be the carrying out of supplier audits both throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
