Our company in a nutshell

Who we are

Launched in February 1982, Next is a British multinational clothing, footwear and home products retailer headquartered in Leicestershire. We have around 700 stores, of which 500 are in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and 200 are in continental Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We are now the largest clothing retailer by sales in the United Kingdom. In total, we have over 50,000 employees.

Careers with us

From the creative flair of our Buyers to the logical brilliance of our Merchandisers, there are opportunities here suited to all kinds of personalities and skill-sets. Just imagine turning fabric into the season's hottest trend, snapping up a style before our competitors even know it exists or seeing your designs on your favourite celebrity.

Graduate opportunities

To be a part of our Head Office Team you'll need a degree qualification, or equivalent. But remember, what matters most to us is your talent, energy and passion for what we do - not necessarily the subject you studied.

Whether it's creating products, supporting our stores or helping to grow our famous Directory business and international websites, there are plenty of rewarding roles where people from all kinds of backgrounds find a home for their skills and ambition.

We know that when we find people with a passion for retail, fashion and our business, we need to make sure we hold on to them. That's why the 3000+ people who work here at Head Office - whether it's in Finance, IT, Marketing, Buying or Design - are all given the support and opportunities they need to do great things.

In return, what we expect (and see every single day) from our team is the commitment, drive and inspiration to help us succeed as a business.
