Who we are

Nissan Motor Company Ltd is a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Yokohama. We sell cars under the Nissan, Infiniti and Datsun brands. We sell over five million cars each year, and we have over 140,000 employees at production facilities around the world.

In the UK, our factory in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, has been producing vehicles since 1986. The site is our European manufacturing location for the Note and Qashqai models, plus the electric vehicle Leaf model, as well as an on-site lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility. Nearly 7000 employees are based at the Sunderland factory.

Nissan graduates

Join our Graduate scheme in Europe, a complete program of three 8-month rotations. The GPN will take you to different locations (both European Headquarters and local business units) and different placements within Sales & Marketing, Administration & Finance and Human Resources.

You can expect to have a robust international experience during the two years and to develop a broader view of our business. In addition, you will receive mentoring support, career advice, visibility to management and the opportunity for accelerated growth within the company.
