Graduate Acoustic Consultant Our client is an independent consultancy specialising in architectural and environmental acoustics. The consultancy offers a diverse range of projects throughout the United Kingdom, providing exposure to varying scales and complexities. Requirements Bachelor's (BSc) or Master's (MSc) degree in Acoustics or related disciplines Effective communication skills and proven ability in both written and verbal formats. Membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Proficiency in British standards, including BS4142, BS5228, BS8233, and BS16283 A valid UK driving license and personal vehicle. Duties Collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and construction site managers throughout the entire project lifecycle. Ensure seamless communication among all stakeholders. Measure noise levels thoroughly, undertake test sound insulation, and use 3D noise modelling techniques to generate conclusive reports based on the collected data. Employ technical acoustical software such as ODEON, INSUL, Soundplan, and CaDnaA to enhance the analysis and decision-making processes.
